The Young Adults will be gathering on Saturday, December 6th at 10:00am to decorate Christmas cookies and then will go out in teams of 2 or 3 to deliver the cookies to people in our parish community who could use a holiday visit. Please bring a batch or two of cookies to decorate. For details, location, and to RSVP, please contact Lara at laraserene@gmail.com

Holy Hour

"The Church and the world have great need of Eucharistic adoration. Jesus waits for us in this sacrament of love. Let us be generous with our time in going to meet Him in adoration and contemplation full of faith. And let us be ready to make reparation for the great faults and crimes of the world. May our adoration never cease." - Pope John Paul II

Join the young adult community on December 5th at 7pm (at Blessed Sacrament Church) for an hour of prayer before the Blessed Sacrament including song, scripture, and rosary recitation. Come for a few minutes or stay for the whole hour. A great way to recollect and find peace at the end of a busy week!

The following message was sent this afternoon by Jesson Mata, Director of Liturgy and Music at Blessed Sacrament. Please take a moment to read this. And please do keep Fr. Tom in your prayers.

Greetings everyone:

As of Wednesday, November 19, Fr. Tom is under observation at a nearby hospital in Seattle, Washington after a procedure to stretch his esophageal passage with a stent—which will enable him to eat and drink normally. He is currently receiving hydration intravenously and receiving pain medication as he recovers from the procedure. If you have any questions, please respond to this email or you may contact me directly. My contact information is listed below. You will receive the latest updates on Fr. Tom via email.

Additionally, the following is a list of contacts that you may publish publicly if anyone would like to receive the most updated news regarding Fr. Tom:

1. frtomupdate@bspwa.org (inquiries may be sent via this email, which people may use to request to get on the "update email list")

2. (206) 732-7350 (pre-recorded message line with updates on Fr. Tom's condition)

3. www.caringbridge.org/visit/frtomkraftop (Fr. Tom's personal website, which he regularly updates with journal entries)

Dinner with the Dominicans!

Join us for dinner, this Sunday, 9 November, after the 5:45pm Mass. (Meet in the vestibule after Mass.) We'll be going out to dinner at Tutta Bella (4411 Stone Way North). Come for good food and good conversation! And come too, to see which Dominican will be putting the "Dominican" in "Dinner with the Dominicans"!

(Also, if possible, please bring cash -- silly, I know, but Tutta Bella is asking that we all pay on one check.)
